- In the silvery light of a full moon rising, a pale, dark-haired man stands upon a wall high above the confluence where the restless River Siene flows into the salt-laden waters of Argent's harbor. His white shirt and long black coat open to the evening air, the figure pensively regards the port district of Argent spread out far below him. To the casual observer, the man looks as if ready to cast himself into the waters below; but those who know him as Sergei, Prince of Argent and Vampyr of the Covenant, will notice the lift of his fingers, the tilt of his body - for he is poised to rise and take wing upon the night wind that brought him here. |
