 Background:

        Jeffrey was born and raised in Boston, Massachusets. He always knew he wanted to be a soldier (at least that's what his parents say), and so when the day came at last, he enlisted with the US Army.

        At first he was assigned to the Airborne Brigade of the landforces, but when a USAF officer came looking for some men to escort him on a mission, Jeffrey was selected along with a handful of others.

        Impressed by Jeffrey's behavior when that mission ended an abject failure (in fact Jeffrey saved the squad's neck by keeping a steady head and finding a way out of an ambush, while under enemy fire) the officer, by the name of Captain J.P. Grant, had him assigned to his own unit. A couple of missions under Grant's command later, Jeffrey came to respect and admire his commander very much. When the stargate opened, Grant was on one of the first teams. Jeffrey secretly dreams
of finding him again, and saving the world together. That's not his official reason for joining the team, though. He's just one of the best snipers around, who can double as a commando if need be, though
he has earned no medals yet.

        His parents are mightily proud of him. His father was a US marine, and never forgave his kid for failing the rigorous physical examinations for joining the marine corps.

        He has never had a relationship with a woman that lasted longer than three weeks, yet. The gods know why.
