Once a favored shipper for the Imperial
fleet, Beddar found himself unable to obey orders when a planet's life
was on the line. His company was shattered, its licenses revoked, and a
low-level warrant was put forth for his arrest; even now, he's still desperately
trying to regain the tiniest shred of what was once his before he crossed
the Empire. He's got a reputation for being a fantastic pilot, a quick
tongue, and a decent merchant; the three combined, though, generally only
just hurts business, as the word "rogue" instantly comes to mind when they
are in the same sentence.
Dorrin is the son of an Imperial Moff.
He was in the Imperial Naval Academy when the Emperor died at Endor. When
word of the Emperor's death hit Coruscant, he took the chance to get out
while the chaos was in full swing. He sold off his valuables and got himself
an old Mining Barge called the "Hacker." He joined the Rebellion to help
fight the last remnants of the Empire, by raiding Imperial shipping and
general harrassment. Now, with the New Republic in power, he acts as a
tramp freighter pilot and sometime smuggler. Personal freedom is very high
on his list of priorities. If something gets too much in the way of his
freedom, he will either leave or fight it.
Draven was born the son of an Imperial
Admiral. A handsome young man, he attended the Imperial Naval Academy.
He was quickly thrown out, however: labeled as undisciplined, obnoxious,
and generally a loud-mouth. Rather than return home in disgrace, he took
his knowledge of starfighters and joined the Rebellion as an X-wing pilot.
After joining, he saved up his credits and purchased his own Astromech
droid, R2-X7. His favorite pastime is recounting old battles to impress
the ladies.
Born on Bespin, Jaff grew up a petty thief
after his parents' unfortunate carbonite accident. Disliking the Empire
because of its restrictive New Order, Jaff joined the pirate ship "Opportunity",
raiding Imperial shipping lines. After the battle of Endor and the dispersal
of the Imperial Navy, the Opportunity began to prey on civilian vessels.
As First Officer, Jaff opposed this policy vehemently, and he and the Captain
of the Opportunity parted on less than friendly terms.
Once one of the treasured minds of the
Empire, Nilessia fled upon discovering the perversion Imperial policies
were making of her research. The young scientist was wise in the way of
numbers but innocent of the galaxy beyond the walls of the sheltered Imperial
labs that had been her home for most of her life. Previously a solitary
soul, Nilessia now finds herself adrift in an incomprehensible world of
company, commerce and conflict.
Jarrell Keondre was born working. He worked
a decade in the Linorium mines of Tenardi-8. At 17, he heard the call for
Imperial duty and answered. The universe would unite in peace, and he would
help guide it, or so he thought those dozen years ago. These days, he focuses
on his duty and his mission. Little else matters. Or at least that is what
he has convinced himself to keep his slowly slipping sanity reasonably
intact.
“This day will be long remembered. It has seen the end of Kenobi and
it will soon see the end of the Rebellion.” Darth Vader - Star Wars: A New
