However, when she's in the "real" world, her psychology changes dramatically. She loses all her confidence, she feels clumsy, insecure. She fears and distrusts strangers and alien beings. She dislikes great noises and crowds, and tries to avoid them were possible. She cannot find words for any topic not related to mathematics or technology. She is always tense, never showing joy or happiness. To sum up, whenever she's not alone, she tries to be a fly on the wall.
Apart from that, Nilessia is naive and very sincere. As her only goal is to understand a mathematical world, she doesn't understand the concept of money very well. She only spends it for her basic needs and she doesn't have any hobbies, so she's very generous(and prone to cons). She will willingly do whatever she can to help people, without expecting (or wanting) anything from them in return. She's very passive and quite - exactly the
opposite of Han Solo. One more thing, she might be an expert on mathematics, but she doesn't know where children come from.

She escaped in a transport and ended up in an uninhabited waste world called Juima. But soon she found out that it wasn't uninhabited at all, for there were silicon-based life forms (thus not detected by normal life-scanners) hidden underground. When she tried to communicate with them, she wasn't able to make them understand a single word; however they rapidly understood numbers and mathematical operations. She stayed on Juima for years, learning all she could from this strange type of beings, but without any contact from the outside. But, it all came to an end one day, when one of the aliens pronounced the word "Zero" very slowly, and touched her gravely. She just seemed to vanish from existence, and lost consciousness. But when she did awake again after some time, and she found herself in another place, another planet. Somehow, she become aware that her strange friends had left her forever.
Nilessia has learned a philosophical system based on numbers (very much like Pitagoras and his followers in the ancient Greece). It is very complex, requiring a vast knowledge of abstract mathematics, which Nilessia has managed to understand. But she still doesn't know how the system works, or what is it used for, and she will have to find out herself. She somehow knows that she needs a certain very rare drug in order to begin to comprehend the whole thing, so that will be her main aim from the moment.
Nilessia is mostly versed in mathematics, of course. She'd be a good engineer, though she is not very talented as a mechanic (she is good at programming or pinpointing a malfunction, but she would need a droid in order to build or repair something).
