Robin wishes she
didn't find the thought of
the unspoken-of Princess Ysabeau as her mother so very...
disturbing. For the Ranger, it's been easy to accept her cousins
as separate from their
parents; Jerod isn't Eric, Merlin isn't Corwin, Brennan isn't Brand.
And
she doesn't hold their parentage against them in any way.
But the girl is finding it hard to apply that same standard to herself. She can't stop wondering just what it *was* that Ysabeau did to get her name so thoroughly expunged from the annuals of Amber. And if it is inheritable.
Robin has recently learned that her mother was the heir to a line of divinity in Vere's home shadow of Danu. And Robin doesn't object to Godhood in anyone else, she's finding it hard to put into practice for herself.
