Robin's father, Prince Julian of Arden (and of Amber too, one must allow), is the center around which her world revolves.  She is hopelessly devoted to him.  He is the anchor in her storm, the one truth in her world of conflicting priorities, and the buttress of reality against her passions and fancies.  He's also a royal pain in the butt sometimes.  But Robin loves him all the more because of it.

Recently, Robin's long held suspicion that she might not be Julian's daughter by blood was reluctantly confirmed by the Warden of Arden.  Not that it matters to Robin.  Anyone can do the squirting and thrusting bits.  It was Julian that raised her, cared for her, loved her and taught her.  Therefore, it is *Julian* who is her father.  Because sometimes the *truth* doesn't match the facts.
