Robin is surprised to
find that she's actually quite fond of Brooke and Leif. She
expected to have duty-like familial feelings for them. After all,
she’s her father’s daughter (kind of.) But after a romping
afternoon spent in one of her favorite Castle gardens, Robin finds
herself smiling whenever she thinks of her niece and nephew.
Brooke’s inquiring mind, Leif’s impetuous nature, Leif’s contrary
nature, Brooke’s respect for those around her. Leif’s freedom of
form, Brooke’s insight, Brooke’s gentle soul, Leif’s sneaking
kindnesses... somehow they all find chords within Robin’s own soul.
And besides, she has very few other relatives who like to play.
