Personal Symbol:
Gold Fleur-de-lis on a Sapphire
Field
Colors:
Sapphire, Emerald & Gold
Physical Description:
Perfect. Utterly, stunningly beautiful. Stop-the-heart beautiful.
Hair the color of
sunset clouds, eyes like sapphires, complexion
creamy and clear, lips like the kisses of roses. Her body is feminine,
lush, tall and utterly touchable. Her every graceful movement seems
to whisper unconscious seduction. Her voice is a golden alto that
thrills the ear.
Mannerisms: Flora is master of the hair
flip, the smoldering glance and all other things designed to make her the
center of the viewer's world. She laughs, cries,
touches and emotes constantly. Which
can make her a little overwhelming at times.
Flora holds herself with an easy grace that is designed to be seen.
Attire: Flora prefers dresses
that show off her figure, low neck lines, slit or high skirts, tight waisted.
Her clothing hints rather than reveals but is *very* effective at
leading the imagination. Gem colors
are her forte, and she accessorizes appropriately. Jewelry, scarves,
stoles, etc. all are lovely, high quality and guaranteed to enhance Flora's
presence.
Flora doesn't use make-up, relying on her shape shift to give her the right
look, but she does wear exotic and beautiful scents.
Psychological
Description:
Flora is near the bottom of a long line of back-stabbing testosterone pumped
brothers. Her answer -- be harmless. She has perfected the
'air-headed little sister' routine. Witness that she is the only
child of Oberon that everyone calls by a nickname -- a well-planned move
on her part. Her emotional outbursts are carefully calculated to
disarm and distract any big macho brother who might think poorly of her.
She is openly 'terrible at politicking', so that no one notices she is
actually quite accomplished at it. Perhaps the best of all her brothers
and sisters.
And it works like a charm. Flora is actually fairly aware of all
of her brothers' and sisters' little plots, though she will never let on
that she knows. She'll just quietly position herself with relation
to the most current plots to take advantage of their outcomes.

History:
Flora saw well in advance that Oberon's extended absence was going to shake
the already bubbling cauldron of the family to explosive levels and laid
her plans. An interesting turn of events occurred when she discovered
the amnesiac Corwin in Shadow. Flora carefully positioned herself
to where she could observe and 'be useful' to Corwin. Just in case
mind you -- not that she suggested that he attempt to take the Throne or
anything -- oh no.
Her talk with Corwin on Shadow Earth made sure that he would keep er apprised
of Bleys' situation as well. Thus guaranteeing that Flora would always
be in the know concerning Corwin, Bleys *and* Eric. Giving her an
excellent overview of the entire Throne War. A fact she carefully
concealed from all of her siblings.
Flora was appalled at how far Brand's ambitions went. And how stupidly
Fiona and Bleys fell into his plot. She maneuvered Fiona -- very
gently -- into opposing Brand. And used Corwin's friendship with
Bleys to turn Brand's brother against him as well. Despite all of
that, Brand still might have succeeded save for the timely intervention
of Oberon.
Florimel was well aware that her father was alive, and was relieved when
the old bastard decided to step in before the entire Kingdom was destroyed.
Though she's still peeved that he let it go on as long as he did.
After watching Oberon's subtle machinations, Flora is aware that she's
got a ways to go, but also knows that she's doing pretty well considering
her age.
And she knows, just *knows* that Oberon is not dead yet. And is waiting
and watching for what trial will come next from the hand of Oberon.
