Centuries after the events of To Dance with the
Devils, Benedict sits upon the throne of Amber. Some
would say that his rule has not been a just or kind one, but they would
not say it out loud. Since being placed upon the throne by the Unicorn,
Benedict has grown more and more dissatisfied with those around him,
and he exerts exacting control - becoming, in the minds of some, The
Devil King.

2008
A thousand years have passed since King Benedict
was murdered. Eric rules in Amber, but all of Shadow is unraveling. Until
Emporer Swayville stabs Sakura with the horn of the Unicorn, and Gods
return to the universe to do battle with The
Devils of Royalty & Divinity.

A year has passed since the war with Chaos ended and the treaties were
signed. Time enough, decides King Random, for a new generation of Amberites
to tour the Golden Circle seeking the causes of a new disturbance - and
causing no end of trouble in their maiden Promenade. |
2000-2002
The first Emergence begat the Universe, creating Chaos: the line between
"is" and "is not." The most recent successful Emergence
was that of the Unicorn, Avatar of Amber. The time for a new Emergence
is nigh...and Time
& Tide wait for no one. |
2004-2005
The Millenium since the Patternfall War has been eventful; but no one
is prepared for the Universe itself to evolve...and its inhabitants to
become Everyday
Gods. |
2001
It has been one hundred years since the Black Road was beaten back to
the very Gates of Chaos itself; a century since the Blessed Unicorn
rose from the Abyss to present Random the Jewel of Judgment - his birthright
and his doom. Now Amber itself must draw Blood
from a Stone.
